Christian Rock is a diverse musical genre. It contains within it a veritable cornucopia of artists. Canadian alt-rockers Thousand Foot Krutch (often typeset as TFK) are one of the best and most respected Christian rock acts in the world today. Returning after two years of touring and playing festivals, their latest offering is pure rawk genius. Welcome to the Masquerade is a very solid album consisting of big riffs, beautiful ballads and catchy hooks. Working with mega producer Aaron Sprinkle and featuring guitar work by Randy Torres (Project 86) and Pete Stewart (Grammatrain, The Accident Experiment) TFK have delivered a real masterpiece.

I’m going to be honest here, since 2002′s classic ‘The Eleventh Hour’, I have been somewhat out of the loop when it has come to all things Jars of Clay, this is until I discovered ‘The Long Fall Back to Earth’. This 2009 release marked their tenth studio album, something that you don’t see too much of now days from modern bands. Jars of Clay has been in the business a very long time, but for Dan Haseltine and the boys, age certainly is not a factor.

Civic Events and Classic Hits announce the launch of the annual Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour coming to a pew near you this October.
The unique pairing of Greg Johnson and Boh Runga provides the headline attraction for the first annual Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour, taking in nine of New Zealand’s most iconic churches from Auckland to Invercargill this October.
